Cabri Community Choir
Cabri Community Choir is a band of happy singers who meet together once a week on Tuesdays at 10:30 am. We are of mixed musical backgrounds - some read music and some do not, but the object is to use music not only to enjoy ourselves, but to support community events to share our enthusiasm and fun with others. We can sing at birthdays, weddings, Bar Mitzvahs and yes, on occasions, to honour the passing of a loved one. We also lead a community sing song for the hospital residents once a month which we enjoy every bit as much as they do!

Our bright red waistcoats can be seen in all corners of the town and as far afield as Swift Current where we experience considerable demand as an entertainment with our end of season program. Currently we are in need of extra sopranos and they are the ones that usually sing the tune and so music reading is not so important!

Joining singers are always welcome in any group. Please consider joining us. Our repertoire covers traditional, folk, country, swing, broadway, gospel and sacred music. We usually run in seasonal sets that we put together as our end of year program. If you have sung in Christmas cantata, then keep up this interest with us. There is a light-hearted air to our rehearsals and a fair amount of banter between sections and/or the director. Don`t wait any longer. We`d love to have you!
